The Demco Community Center was built by Dethmer's Manufacturing Co, aka Demco in 1996 and was donated to the City of Boyden. The building is the perfect facility for hosting your wedding, wedding and graduation receptions, anniversary party, business meetings and almost any other type of gathering.
Rental Rates:
Large Room Only (no kitchen access): $150
Large Room with kitchen access: $200
Small Room Only (no kitchen access): $50
Small Room with kitchen access: $75
* please note the following:
• A non-refundable down-payment of $50 is due to hold your date on the reservation calendar; and
• Wedding receptions receive the day before the event for FREE for set up purposes.

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE DEMCO COMMUNITY CENTER
1. NO ALCOHOL.
2. NO SMOKING OR TOBACCO USE.
3. Renter is responsible for broken, damaged, or missing property. These costs will be assessed to the renter.
4. Renter is responsible for all set-up, clean-up and knock-down of equipment and furnishings. If the City incurs any costs to perform these functions, the renter will be charged.
5. The renter understands that no alcoholic beverages or smoking of tobacco is permitted inside the community center.
6. Renter understands that no furnishings or equipment are to be removed from the premises at any time.
7. If the renter employs a catering service, the renter is responsible for any damages or actions incurred or caused by the caterer.
8. Renter understands that no public auction, craft fair, or sale may be held in this building.
9. No tape may be used on the carpet.
10. Renter agrees to pay a $50 fee upon signing reservation which is non-refundable if reservation is subsequently canceled. The balance of the rental fee must be paid prior to the reservation date.
