KI CHILDBoyden Kiwanis Club: Boyden Kiwanis is a part of Kiwanis International, a worldwide service organization that has over 350,000 members dedicated to serving children of the world. Members of the Boyden Kiwanis Club involve themselves in making available avenues of success for young children through its Sixth Grade Basketball Tournaments, one for boys and one for girls.

The club promotes community improvement by using proceeds from its can crib to provide a community message board, books for the community's public library and other community enhancements. Boyden Kiwanis Club meets every Thursday morning, with the exception of holidays, at 6:30 a.m. in the Boyden Demco Community Center. American Legion: The American Legion Post 272, a service organization for Veterans, was established on Boyden in 1919. Monthly meetings are held the 1st Monday of every month at 7:30 p.m. at the Legion Building. Members hold annual omelet brunches and organize Veteran's Day and Memorial Day programs. American Legion Auxiliary: The Boyen American Legion Auxiliary, an organization for veteran's spouses, was formed in 1924. Monthly meetings are held the 3rd Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Legion Building. Further details about membership and benefits can be obtained through the American Legion Post 272.


Boyden Community Club: The Boyden Community Club is an organization made up of members of the Boyden Business Community who meet once a month to discuss community issues. Annual events include the Boyden Community Club Banquet, and every other year they organize a pork supper or the Boyden Farm & Home Show. Boyden Belles Red Hat Society: The Boyden Belles Red Hat Society is a nationally recognized organization which was formed in August of 2003, and is for women ages 55 and older.  The club's purpose is for the members to have fun being together and go on an occasional outing. Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. in the Boyden Public Library.  Anyone wishing to join may contact the "Queen Mum" Judy Sheffield at (712) 725-2087.
