Do not transport children in your own car.  If a parent can not be reached, call the police department or school as indicated for the child's particular problem.

Lost child under school age - call parent or police department

Lost child of school age - call your school or call parent

Slightly injured child - send on to school or back to his home or daycare

Seriously injured child - call 911 for aid

Call 911 in the event that a dog is bothering a child or has been bitten by an animal of any kind

If a child has been molested or frightened by a stranger, or if a child has witnessed an indecent exposure, call 911 immediately.

Do not offer the child food or beverage.

Do not administer first aid in case of injury except the stop excessive bleeding or to restore breathing.

A report should be made to the City Offices or to the Mayor if a child is helped by a Star House participant.
